Cruden Bay Golf Club was officially established in 1899. The original course was designed by the legendary Old Tom Morris and Archie Simpson, with further enhancements made in 1962 by architects Tom Simpson and Herbert Fowler.

 

The par-70 links course spans over 6,000 yards and is known for its unique layout, dramatic dunes, and breathtaking views of the North Sea. Cruden Bay presents a classic links challenge, with natural undulations, strategically placed bunkers, and ever-changing coastal winds. It has earned a reputation as one of Scotland’s most visually striking and enjoyable courses, blending traditional design with stunning natural surroundings.
